The Dr. Haidar Abdul Shafi Center for Culture and Development holds two workshops in collaboration with the Working Women's Association on "Labor Law and Inheritance". The center conducted two workshops in cooperation with the Working Women's Association on "Labor Law and Inheritance" at its headquarters in Gaza City. The session began with a welcoming statement from Mr. Ahmed Al-Banna, followed by a discussion on labor law and the key details of employment contracts. It emphasized that work is a right for every capable citizen, and that the provisions of this law apply to all workers and employers in Palestine. Additionally, Mr. Ahmed addressed the topic of inheritance, the rights of mothers, fathers, and children, general inheritance cases, its types, details, and conditions. Participants emphasized the importance of raising awareness about both labor law and inheritance and the necessity of enhancing awareness and knowledge to recognize and protect rights. This meeting is part of the networking efforts by the center with other civil society organizations aimed at raising awareness and building knowledge capacities within the Palestinian community.
