The Director of the Dr. Haider Abdul Shafi Center for Culture and Development concluded a visit to Spain, during which he met with various representatives of political and social entities. He also met with the Palestinian Ambassador to Madrid, Mr. Husni Abdul Wahid. Abu Ramadan emphasized the importance of intensifying international popular solidarity with our people's rights, especially in light of the right-wing and racist government in the occupation state. He stressed the importance of turning the threat posed by this government into an opportunity to expose the nature of the occupation state, which adopts a plan of decisive action and seeks to liquidate the Palestinian national cause. Representatives of Spanish entities affirmed their solidarity with our people's rights in confronting the policies of occupation, settlement, siege, and racial discrimination. Everyone emphasized the importance of mobilizing the capacities of Palestinian and European civil society organizations to dismantle Zionist propaganda aimed at pressuring EU countries and imposing conditions for funding, including changing educational curricula and attempting to restrict civil society organizations and human rights organizations, especially those working to expose war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the occupation state against our people. Everyone emphasized that the struggle for Palestine means the struggle for the values of freedom, democracy, and social justice.
