Dr. Haider Abdel Shafi Center for Culture and Development Launches the Project “Enhancing the Role of Youth in Maintaining Civil Peace” The Dr. Haider Abdel Shafi Center for Culture in Gaza has launched a training program on civil peace, with the participation of an outstanding group of active young men and women in their communities. The training program will address fundamental concepts related to civil peace, the importance of coexistence, and ways to promote dialogue and mutual understanding within society. The first day of training was full of constructive discussions, positive interaction, and experiences that reflect the participants’ awareness and their desire to make real change. We look forward to the upcoming training days with great enthusiasm, and to gaining more knowledge and collaboration to build a more just and peaceful society. The training program, which will cover Gaza and the southern region, aims to establish a youth network to work on protecting civil peace and achieving social unity and cohesion. This training program is part of a project entitled “Enhancing the Role of Youth in Maintaining Civil Peace.”
