The Dr. Hayder Abdul Shafi Center for Culture and Development participates in a training course on the principles of human rights organized by the Palestinian Center for Human Rights.

A group of volunteers from the Dr. Hayder Abdul Shafi Center for Culture and Development participated in a week-long training course that covered the fundamental principles of human rights, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, as well as a series of international treaties and laws.

The course was inaugurated by both the Director of the Training Unit at the Palestinian Center, Mr. Abdelhalim Abu Samra, and the Director of the Dr. Hayder Abdul Shafi Center for Culture and Development, Mr. Mohsen Abu Ramadan. In their opening remarks, they emphasized the importance of understanding human rights principles as a global human rights system that should be utilized at the individual, group, and societal levels to ensure various rights, whether political or economic, within the framework of promoting human rights culture that benefits our Palestinian society. This also contributes to strengthening its resilience and achieving social cohesion, as well as asserting the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and eliminating all forms of oppression against them.
