**In the Debate Over Ending the Division... by Mohsen Abu Ramadan**
It has become clear that the fascist and racist right-wing government believes that the historical moment is opportune to complete the implementation of the Zionist project, which culminated in the displacement of a large number of our people in 1948 and the establishment of the state of Israel, which is considered the material embodiment of the Zionist project on the ruins of our people. This belief stems from their conviction that local factors, through the division, and regional factors, through the Abraham Accords, as well as the continued preoccupation of Arabs with local disputes and conflicts that take on an ethnic, regional, and tribal character, and the continued external support, especially from the United States despite tactical differences between them.
This has emerged through the "confrontation plan" adopted by the right-wing government, which lies in annexing vast areas of the West Bank, bringing in a million new settlers over the next two years, confining Palestinian population centers to enclaves and cantons, and dismantling the authority into regional circles to administer the affairs of the cantons. The ferocity of the fascist right-wing government has emerged through supporting settlers in carrying out fierce and aggressive attacks against our people, which manifested clearly in the Hawara arson and more recently the attack on Turmus'ayya, Awarta, Beit Dajan, Beit Dajan, and Beit Dajan, and burning homes and cars, targeting the innocent in their homes, burning mosques, and burning and desecrating the Qur'an, in addition to continuing attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque with the aim of dividing it temporally and spatially, legitimizing settlement outposts, announcing the construction of thousands of housing units in settlements, and granting Smotrich wide powers to target our people internally through settlement and arbitrary detention of activists and attempting to maintain the racist character of the population by isolating Palestinian people and enhancing the Jewish presence in what are called mixed cities.
The plans of the occupation government, which are accelerating with the "confrontation plan," put the Palestinian people in front of several options: either to live as slaves (water carriers and woodcutters) according to the conditions of the occupation, or to emigrate, or to die if there is a decision to resist through the occupation army.
It has become clear that what the occupation state is proposing does not go beyond implementing the economic peace plan, and none of the rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among which is the right to self-determination and return, are in its dictionary.
It is a stage in which the occupation state wants to end any debate or opportunity for a two-state solution and not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967.
The plans of the fascist right-wing government, in their plans, are based on religious and Torah ideological concepts, through the rise and execution of religious Zionism in decision-making, which is used to erase the rights of the Palestinian people and pave the way for the establishment of the occupation state from the Nile to the Euphrates.
The division of aggressive tasks towards our people between the army and settlers aims to push the Palestinian people to despair and consider migration. However, it is clear that our people have learned the lesson from the 1948 exodus, as they are steadfast on their land and practice all forms of legitimate resistance against the attacks of colonialists and Zionist fascists.
The state of steadfastness and resistance has created dynamics of field unity, which will necessarily contribute to ending disputes among our people, as there is no option but unity in the face of the existential challenges imposed by the fascist and racist right-wing government in the occupation state.
Therefore, the approach to ending the division must start from this clear reading, as the occupation state wants to impose surrender conditions on our people, which no one accepts.
The involvement of some members of the security apparatuses in confronting the incursions of the occupation army in Nablus and Jenin confirms that our people, with all their components, are committed to the choice of struggle and resistance. This is also evident in the resistance formations, which include elements from all political components, united by the decision to fight, resist, and persevere.
In order to complete the process of ending the division, it is important to continue the convergence and field unity by arranging the internal house through strengthening the concept of political partnership. This can be achieved through elections or democratic consensus to achieve the widest possible participation in the components of the Palestinian representative bodies, especially in the Palestine Liberation Organization, which is considered the moral compass and broad national front to lead the national struggle and manage the conflict in a way that enables our people to achieve their legitimate and steadfast rights.
While Netanyahu's government, along with Bennett and Smotrich, poses a threat, it is possible to turn the threat into an opportunity through field and political solidarity, which requires implementing the decisions of the National and Central Councils and arranging the internal house on revolutionary bases and enhancing democratic life among our people.
